Processing time is the time it takes to process and package your Velvet Bone order before shipment. Processing time only includes business days and excludes weekends and holidays. Processing time varies by payment method due to various payout times by different payment processors.

Paypal: 1-3 day processing time
Any other payment method: 3-5 day processing time

We offer a flat rate of $7 to ship anywhere in the US, $15 to ship anywhere internationally.

You will receive an email with a tracking number after your order has been dropped off at USPS. Shipping times may vary based on time of year.

We ship USPS ground advantage which is 2-5 business days excluding holidays and weekends. USPS ground advantage is insured up to $100.

We do not offer returns, exchanges, cancellations or refunds in any capacity or under any circumstance. We are a small business full time artist who lives sale to sale-- we simply cannot afford to process refunds or cancellations.

The Velvet Bone is not held liable if a package is lost, stolen, or damaged during shipment.

If your package is damaged during shipment, you will have to contact USPS and file a claim as every package is insured up to $100.

A delivered package does not fall under USPS's insurance policy, so please make sure to purchase signed delivery if you feel extra security is needed for your delivery.

If your item is returned to me due to an incorrect address, either by you or me, I will ship the item back to you free of charge. under no circumstances will I offer a refund for a return to sender package. please double check your address before purchasing.

Need a piece repaired? we will fix your piece for you, on us, rather it needs repaired because of a mistake on our end or yours. We know you work hard for your things, and we want you to be able to appreciate them for a lifetime. We'll do our best to accommodate you but can't make any guarantee-- we accept repair replacements on a case by case basis.

By purchasing you agree to acknowledge that all of our pieces are handmade one of a kind items that are made of natural materials that are sometimes "imperfect". Pieces with shells, mirrors, or pearls may appear to have flaws. We will not provide refunds, exchanges or cancellations over any perceived imperfections.

By purchasing you agree that I have listed all the information required to the best of my knowledge based on research and material lists on bought products. If something happens to be wrong, or inaccurate, you agree that you know and understand that The Velvet Bone is not held liable.
